Thanks for visiting my blog! My name’s Liz and I created this blog for three reasons:

  1. To document my fitness and healthy lifestyle journey.
  2. To help keep myself accountable in my exercise and eating routine.
  3. To share my journey with anyone who is looking for a little encouragement, motivation and some helpful tips!

In 2011, I was very unhealthy. I had not been working out through and post-college, and my eating and drinking habits were poor. My doctor told me one day that I was borderline overweight for my height. Hearing that news was a reality check. I started researching workout routines and healthy diets. Over time I lost 40lbs and I’m the strongest and most confident I’ve ever been.

Through my own personal journey to live a healthy lifestyle, I realized I wanted to help others in their journeys as well. After quitting my last job working in government, I studied and passed my training certification exam and am now a Certified Personal Trainer at Under Armour Performance Center.

Fitness isn’t just about going to the gym. It’s a lifestyle of healthy choices. It can be difficult, but also so rewarding. I’d to love to share my journey with you and I hope you’ll join my fit fam!
